Pomodoro Technique
If you can’t focus, do this.
Pick 1 task to focus on.
Set a timer for 25 minutes.
Work on that task until the timer goes off.
Take a solid 5 minute break (walk around, listen to music, pet your dog).
Work for another 25 minutes and repeat.
This is called the Pomodoro technique. It was popularized by Francesco Cirillo in the 1980s. He couldn’t focus on his studies but fixed his problem with these exact steps.
