Do Your MCQs Before Lectures

I have a weird study tip. But its backed by science so…here we go.

Studies show that students learn material better when they attempt to answer questions, before learning the material.

So, this would mean that you will learn the material better, if you try to answer the MCQs before listening to the lecture or reading the textbook.

This may be difficult and frustrating to do, but as I have written elsewhere, the difficult and frustrating study methods are often the most effective. 

So give it a shot. Try the MCQs before the lectures every once in a while.
