What To Bring To The CPA EXam

A few things are needed when you show up to your CPA Exam. Make sure to have them all (a few days before your exam to avoid any last minute panic attacks).

Notice to Schedule (NTS): This is a document issued by the state board of accountancy confirming that you are eligible to sit for the exam. You'll need to present this at the testing center.

Identification (ID): A valid, government-issued photo ID such as a driver's license, passport, or military ID. Make sure your name on the ID matches the name on your NTS.

Appointment Confirmation: If you received an appointment confirmation from the testing center, it's a good idea to bring it along.

Personal Belongings: Be sure to bring only essential personal items as testing centers often have strict policies regarding what you can bring into the exam room. This might include keys, wallet, and any permitted items specified by the testing center.

Writing Implements: While many testing centers provide pencils and scratch paper, it's a good idea to bring a few of your own just in case.

Snacks: Bring some snacks to eat during your break. Don’t want to test and worry about being hungry.
